A very good draw considering the alternatives. It will very probably be our only London derby of the season.
Wash your mouth out - we are Wembley bound, knocking out Chelsea, Arsenal and Millwall along the way 😀

Hopefully we can resign Naab Van Sarrstelrooy to stick up top for a late goal

We'd easily take 2k to QPR, even in the league cup. Higher league opposition and the only London derby of the season.

I reckon 1000 at most. A weekend would’ve made those numbers more doable but no enthusiasm for this team, a crap ground, a crap competition and on a weeknight…

Are you calling The Valley a crap ground?  ;)

We’d be much better off at the new stadium on the peninsula… :-)

I don't think we would. Dog shit ground, midweek in a cup match we won't win.

And both teams fielding a bunch of reserves, not a chance 2k going for that.

I'm in the 2k camp - our away support is pretty good these days, christ we took nearly 1k midweek to some northern outposts......a summer evening London derby away cup tie would definitely attract interest

    2nd round draw tomorrow.

A decent number of "upsets" this evening...

Accrington 2-2 Tranmere (11-12 on pens)
Blackpool 0-0 Barrow (3-4 on pens)
    Bradford 2-1 Hull
    Cardiff 0-3 Portsmouth
Charlton 1-1 QPR (5-3 on pens)
    Crawley 1-0 Bristol Rovers
    Fleetwood 1-0 Wigan
    Ipswich 0-1 Colchester
    Luton 2-3 Newport
Morecambe 0-0 Stoke (5-3 on pens)
Oxford 2-2 Swansea (5-3 on pens)
    Rochdale 2-0 Burton
    Reading 1-2 Stevenage

13 out of the 27 games played. It almost would've been easier to list the games where a team from a lower division didn't win..!

Apparently so according to this: https://www.nationalworld.com/sport/football/when-is-the-carabao-cup-second-round-draw-how-to-watch-3798973

Is the Carabao Cup second round draw regionalised?

Yes, the second round draw for the Carabao Cup will be regionalised.

That means the draw will be split into a southern section and a northern section.

Only the first and second rounds of the competition have regionalised draws.

Believe so though from the above fixtures looks like we’re in with Wales. Newport away anyone?

a winnable home tie would be nice in 2nd round them get one of the big boys in round 3, palace as much as I would like to get them I don’t take much pleasure in being tonked by there 2nd string and there weird fan base getting all funky with there arts and crafts boxes.
  • I'd be happy with Crawley or Stevenage at home.

We'll probably get something shit like MK Dons away.
  • Anyone but a league 1 club away from home.

    Crawley away is my hope.
