    I remember that goal very well.
    I was stunned, most unlike a Charlton defender to score a goal like that.
    I had great hopes of Poole and I think he got injured not long after and that was that.

    Gary Poole only played 16 games for Cafc before injury wrecked his career. The cracking goal at QPR was his one and only goal for Charlton. The injury Jink has been around a long time.

    Love that goal, remember the match fondly as it was the first away game my dad took me to.

    Remember Mike Salmon having a blinder aswell.

    No, don’t think he ever scored a hat trick for us, missed a pen against West Brom at home once which would’ve got his hat trick

    I remember going to QPR V Charlton when we scored 4 goals. I thought someone got a hat trick and thought it was J. Robinson. Just looked at the records between us. It must have been the game on the 4th of October when we beat them 4-2 at their ground. I remember the game but don't remember the goalscorers.
