    It was always going to be hard following Connie but you managed it perfectly.

    I remember speaking to "Peter's new PA" on the phone the week you started and not realising it was you (you didn't let on until later in the week). :- )

    Charlton is an unique club and Suzi, you have been an integral part of that uniqueness: a fan and a loyal and key employee at the same time. I cannot imagine Simon Jordans PA being allowed to post openly on a fans site (except in singing his praises) yet we kind of take it for granted that key workers, managers and on occasions Board members post on this site (and others).

    The fact that key people such as yourself have, due to the clubs financial position, had to leave brings it home to me more than the loss of a few strutting peacocks who have flown the nest with their bloated bank balances in tact to carry on their largesse anew somewhere else.

    As I said earlier, the very best of luck to you for the future. There are a few out there on the footballing side, some with egos the size of planets, whose poor performances, complacancy and lack of judgement have brought the club to this point and they should all now be hanging their heads in shame.
