Getting closer to his preferred team. Think Payne starts ahead of Morgan and he wants a better winger opposite CBT (Rak-Sakyi) but that's how I expect us to line up when everyone's fit5

Fraser and Kirk seemed to be working out a good understanding in preseason, time for them both to start actually looking like the "new signings" we've been hoping for...3

Interesting that Clayden beat JFC and Gilbey for a bench slot, but I agree with that decision as last week having 3 midfielders on the bench was too many. We need some fullback cover as well, and a left footed option.5

Not a bad team. Would have Payne in there & no Morgan but it is what it is.
Still bugs me that in a squad of 18 & can use 5 subs that we have named just 2 strikers. Not like the midfield is packed with scorers either.

Good pre show with Aidan and Ali sitting in with Curbs, a different slant to the usual pre show stuff, nice listening to Ali, very knowledgeable on various aspects of the game, looking forward to today..2

Doesn't make any sense. IMO a perfect bench is 7 players, made up of a keeper, a full back, a centre back, a more defensive midfielder, a more attacking midfielder, and either 2 strikers or a striker and a winger, depending on your team's formation. 3 strikers out of 6 outfield subs, especially in a team that plays 1 striker at a time, is nonsensegolfaddick said:Not a bad team.
