Is Gavin worth a place on the bench for the first team? I think he’s a better prospect than Leaburn1

Chin looking so industrious again!1

Great performance from our lads !
Onwards & upwards !1 -
Very good win against a top team at this level.
Lots of very good individual performances and great team play from what is a very young U21 side.
Can imagine a few National League and Division 2 scouts making some phone calls asking for loans.
And while Kanu did score two, no he's not yet a replacement for Stockley. He wasn't really in the game until their centre half was sent off.
And @aliwibble can we lose the unnecessary apostrophe in U21s, please3 -
I thought Henry was a class above. It would be great for some of these to get National/League 2 loans.2

Cracking entertainment and some very good performances from, amongst others, Henry, Bakrin, Santos and Kanu. An impressive cameo too from Gavin. A fine team performance overall, with good passing, movement and fluidity.
It’s good to see the first team trying to emulate what these lads have been doing for the last couple of years. I know that many of us are braying for Thomas to open his wallet and buy a striker - and hopefully we’ll get one - but I’m confident that what he’s shelled out to secure this group contractually will prove a very good investment in the medium and longer term.10 - Sponsored links:

Ryan Viggars joined us from the Blades so maybe a bit of added spice there.1

Any idea where Oguntayo was today? Had hoped he’d get another run out today.1

A kind soul at the London FA has passed me a copy of the draw for the London Senior Cup. It's not confidential, it's just taking a while to get onto the website, so here's what I know. Ties are to be played by specified dates, with the exact arrangements to be agreed by the clubs, so we don't know that match dates yet.
Round 1, to be played by 5 November, away at Phoenix Sports.
Round 2, to be played by 17 December, the winner of the above is away at Cray Valley (PM) or Welling United.
The winner of that second round match is away in the quarters and at home in the semis.
Phoenix Sports are at step 5 below the league, in the Southern Counties East. They play in Bexleyheath, very near VCD Athletic. The Mayplace Ground, on Mayplace Road East, DA7 6JT.2 -
"Unfortunately Nathan Harvey, Jacob Roddy and Billy French are on the sidelines"
Roddy still around then but no mention of Oguntayo.0 -

I hope Charlton give Henry a new long contract before the end of the year, and I mean Aaron not Irving0
