Hospitality for the Ipswich game -Any Recommendations

Hi All. I’m looking for some advice please.  I want to book some hospitality for the Ipswich game for about 10 guests as part of my 50th birthday celebrations.  There seems to be a variety of packages available from the club and would appreciate any recommendations from people who have booked recently. Thanks for any help you can give.

  • I believe the Alan Curbishley stand package offers a flat screen tv and private door amongst other benefits if that piques your interest.

    Hello @cafcforever

I can offer you a little advice. This on the basis of having been in the Vista Lounge last season and now moved to Club 1905 this year.

So, the first thing to say is that they have altered the offering in the Vista Lounge this season. There used to be a main meal which is what we wanted.  But this year the available nosh is described as "street food" whatever that might be. The food there also has to be paid for: it is not included in the price. You would likely find it difficult (impossible?) to get a table for 10.

Still early days in Club 1905, which is more expensive of course but I think it is miles better. First, you'll get a private table for your party. (About 10 I would say is the maximum for adequate space on the largest size table. I have seen one with 12 and it looked cramped.) There is a welcome drink included, otherwise you pay for drinks. The meal is 3-course and included. So far it has been pretty good. It is carvery style though - your guests would have to get their own food. Drinks are served at the table.

I have not used the Centre Circle offering but the price goes up again. The meal is 4 course and drinks are complimentary. But I believe table size is a maximum of 8.

I have not used a suite/executive box, so cannot comment.

there is a downloadable brochure for hospitality on the Charlton web site. https://cdn.charltonafc.com/sites/default/files/2022-07/Charlton Hospitality 22:23_0.pdf

    I hope that helps.

Go to crossbars and spend your £1500 on Heineken.

I hired an executive box in the AC stand a few years ago and it was very good. You had.to buy your.own drinks but food was laid on and was tasty

I was in the Vista Lounge last Saturday. A ham roll* for £7 wasn’t value for money.

*The ham roll was described as gammon with rustic slaw in a Brioche Bun and it was bloody awful. I wish we’d had a burger from outside the ground

And the ""cash bar". Don't forget the cash bar.

(PS. It's not clear if they also take cards!)

I've done the Centre Circle a few times and had tables of ten when we sponsored match so a ten shouldn't be a problem if it's not already too busy .
    The food is decent enough

Vista Lounge is in no way what you’d want to consider as your choice…..it’s in ‘no way’ suitable.
