Died today age 70, far too young. The Wolf Hall series is brilliant.

    Loved the Wolf Hall books. Really brought events to life, though her depiction of Cromwell was very favourable.

    read all the Cromwell books and t b h found them hard going .. no doubt she was a clever writer, very iconoclastic with her own ideas about history .. R I P

    What a loss. Devastated. I feel as though I knew her. As well as the Wolf Hall trilogy, 8 months on Ghazza street stands out for me.
