It's a long season, Payne's flexibility and skillset makes him a very important squad member. I think he's going to get a run in the team at some point and will then be hard to dislodge. Really like the look of him as a super sub at this point though. Brings a lot of energy.

There's been a lot of moaning about the League Two signings but Payne, Egbo, O'Connell, and Wollacott have all looked like very shrewd signings.
