Avanti who run direct trains to Stoke have not yet released timetables & are not yet selling tickets.
Day return tickets are on sale for travel on West Midlands Trains, where you travel from Euston to Stafford & change for a train to Stoke or Longport.
Any strikes will have to be announced by Midnight tonight to affect train travel on this day.

Decided to do the West Midlands route to Stoke via Stafford in the end.  £45 return (£29.70 with Railcard). Out on 0939 and back on 1821.  Lots of train drinking time, but at least you can buy the tickets....

thanks clive the option the poster posted are no longer available - looks like we will have to give this one a miss as i dont particularly want to be hanging around stafford/stoke until 7.30

not just the working week but now these parasite rail companies mess with our weekends aswell slags

Your purchase clearly hasn't updated yet. Give it an hour or two.
