    Maynard-Brewer: 6 - very little to do, other than to field a multitude of back passes, but he looked comfortable. He needs to play in the next two cup games and be given the opportunity to stake a claim, as MacGillivray won't be here next season
    Clare: 4.5 - I like his athleticism but he often wants too much time and takes too many touches
    Lavelle: 4 - really poor for the Port Vale goal
    Inniss: 4 - ditto. 
    Sessegnon: 7:MoTM - our best performer in an exceptionally poor team performance
    B-T: 5 - always poses a threat but the final ball wasn't there (albeit we get very few players into the box to aim at)
    Dobson: 4 - another off day
    Fraser: 3 - lots of misplaced passes and repeatedly brushed aside in midfield. Needs a rest
    R-S: 4.5 - one really threatening run in the second half but, otherwise, was not at the hunt 
    Stockley: 3 - one good lay off in the first half but, sadly, poses zero goal threat at present
    Kirk: 3 - he was an expert this afternoon in making himself unavailable to receive the ball. A complete passenger
    Aneke: 5 - livened things up but couldn't get much change out of a resolute defence. Unrealistic to expect him to bale us out for a 3rd game on the bounce
    F-C: 5 - very little time to make an impact. One or two poor set plays 
    Campbell: 6 - a couple of good moments and looked lively with his direct style
    Payne: 5 - missed our only real chance but at least he can offer a goal threat from midfield
    Referee: 7 - pretty good

    Lavelle: 4 he had so much ball and did f all with it  Meh!

    Coach has lost the plot, set up for a draw and played all his attacking cards when it was too late. Sideways backwards going nowhere Football Meh! I didn’t have that far to travel but felt so sorry for the 900 odd diehards who done their dough in a 400 mile round trip to watch that dross.

    Stockley: 1 when Curbs says he needs resting you know he really is as shit as we have been saying for ages.
    Kirk: 5 he doesn't waste the ball much and kept trying.
    Aneke: 5 didn't make as much impact as Vale had done their homework on him
    F-C: 5.5 a breath of fresh air after watching Fraser lately. Got to start 
    Campbell: 4 no impact as he was offer muscled out

    Referee: 4 missed some really ridiculous blatant fouls by Vale

    Fraser:  4  Vapid as usual: trundling around while Vale sprinted past 
    R-S;  6  Interesting ideas, but dribbles up his own arse 
    Stockley:  4  There is simply no point in lobbing high balls to a man who can't jump   
    Kirk:  4.5  Insignificant 
    Aneke:  4.5  How's that for a super-sub?  Clumsy and slow: better suited to boxing, or grid-iron in the States. 
    F-C:   4.5.  Made no impression at all
    Campbell:  4.5  Small and insignificant
    Payne:  4.5  A "great scorer from Swindon". He skied it from 10 yards out.

    An utterly appalling display. We can't even control the ball, let alone pass accurately ten yards to another. We can't tackle - pathetic weaklings, again. And we have absolutely no idea of how to get forward, on or off the ball. We are physically weak, and mentally dim - comprehensively outplayed by a team that has just come up from the Fourth Division. This is shockingly bad.

    Campbell:4 Didn't notice him if I am honest so obviously made little impact

    Maynard-Brewer: 6 OK, goal not his fault, didn't do much wrong
    Clare: 4 He has gone backwards as a player again, literally went backwards every time he got the ball.
    Lavelle: 3 isn't good enough, 4th choice for a reason.
    Inniss: 5.5 an extra half mark for that little run foward and the quickly taken free kick.
    Sessegnon: 6 MOM best of a bad bunch.
    B-T: 4 best used off the bench
    Dobson: 4 the player that couldn't get a game at Sunderland
    Fraser: 2 minus 1 for bottling that defensive header, he literally ran away from it.
    R-S; 4 Need to get the ball to him where he can actually hurt the opposition, not in the middle of his own half.
    Stockley: 2 its actually sad to see a shadow of the 2021 player.
    Kirk: 4 looks good doing nothing, a lot.
    Aneke: 5 brining him on with 20 minutes left to try and rescue a game is now plan A.
    F-C:5 Poor set plays, at least tried to go forward.

    Payne: 5 much better as a sub even of it didn't come off yesterday.

    Aneke: 5.5 Good strength and actually tried to shoot at the goal. But still, a bit, meh
    F-C: 5.5 Looks up, looks forward, passes forward. Revolutionary! But still meh and barely any noticeable difference once he came on.

    Maynard-Brewer: 6  Didn't have a lot to do other than pick the ball out of his own net.  Kicking was better than McG
    Clare: 5 Looks better on the right but not the player yesterday he was in the first 5 games of the season.  
    Lavelle: 4  - Like Stockley, this style doesn't suit him.  Hes not great on the ball and he's left foot is his weakest by some margin
    Inniss: 5 - Didn't have a great game yesterday
    Sessegnon: 7 - was everywhere, compensated for Lavelles shortcomings and popped up on the right wing every now and again. Got booked early but didnt let it effect his game
    B-T: 6  Ran out of gas, hes more of a threat off the bench against tired legs, just didnt get on the ball enough
    Dobson: 5 - on this showing he's championship standard without the ball, non league once on it. So many misplaced passes.   
    Fraser: 5 - Doesn't get the ball forward quickly enough to our forward players.  too happy to bop it about on the half way line
    R-S; 6  - Starved of service, when he gets on the ball he looks our most potent threat
    Stockley: 4 - Needs time out of the team to work out how he can be effective in this system when attacking, what he's doing at the moment isn't. The only thing hes adding is defending at set pieces, prehaps he should play instead of Lavelle :)
    Kirk: 5 - Again doesn't get on the ball enough, quickly enough to be effective.  
    Aneke: 6 - Should have scored, looks a constant threat, adds so much and shows what this team could be if we could sign a similar player who could play from the start
    F-C: 5 - didnt have enough time to make an impact on the game, but at least hes looking to pass forward, not sideways or back
    Campbell:5 - Needs service to be effective - didnt really get much
    Payne: 5 - Should have scored in the last min.
    Referee: 6  Only got booed by us once or twice, which is pretty good going in this league
