That's a shame, very talented, interesting and thoughtful bloke.
Although it's good that he got a few more years than he originally expected.

Very sad, great guitarist. Posted this earlier then saw a page saying it was a hoax so withdrew it. Obviously the hoax page was a hoax... RIP Wilko.0

The original Dr Feelgood were a great band and saw Wilko when he joined the Blockheads. His distinctive guitar style and strut will be a legacy but probably not as much as him defying the odds over the course of the last decade.

Also saw Feelgood a few times back in the day (or should I say Back In The Night?). His weird shuffles along the stage with his head completely still were legendary.

Are we sure this time ? Only last time he said he was dying he decided to carry on living for another 10 years.
It was only then that I found out who he was. Love seeing videos of Dr Feelgood doing Roxette and Keeping it out of Sight. Wilko was a unique person
RIP.

Sad news - he was a top man and cheated the odds for many years.
Saw him first at The Tramshed in Woolwich.0 -
Saw them many years ago and he couldn't stand still for 5 mins.
Great band and a true legend. In later years he reminded me of that guy who does the darts scores with the gravelly voice.

Loved Dr Feelgood and Wilko was an inovative performer and class guitarist. IF you have not already YOUTUBE some of their 70's performances.
