From the Sky Sports story about ZiZI going. There was a footnote about other players not offered contracts, and also this about Matt Holland:

"Matty has decided to do his pre-season at Colchester United because it's closer to his home."

Now forgive me if I'm wrong. He's still a Charlton player, right?

I know he's not been used as much as previous seasons, but he has possibly the most experienced head in the entire squad, so, why the f**k is he not training at Sparrows Lane with the rest of the squad. Why is he allowed special dispensation to train where he wants to?

The squad should be ALL together getting ready for what will be an extremely tough and extremely important season. Holland can have such an influence on some of the younger players that will be coming through this coming season, and he can't be giving out advice and help if he isn't around!

This club continues to confuse me...

He's out of contract. So, no, he's not still a Charlton player.

No, he's not a Charlton player.

Contract ran out and he's not signed the new one offered. Maybe because that is conditional on a takeover or maybe cos he's waiting to see if he gets better.

Anyway I can see a torpedo of the port bow.

    I did say forgive me!

Must have not seen the news about his contract running out due to the eight thousand takeover threads ;)
