Talking of kits got the phone call from the club today about renewing Bromley Addicks shirt sponsorship of Robbie Elliot which we have done.

May also wait until January and see who is going cheap and get one or two more.

    Notice you didn't ask about Andy Gray's shirt : - )

Sure AFKA or Lookie will stick up a sticky about it soonish.

It's a shirt, don't worry. I think it is fine and a good sponsor and it seems a good deal. Let's get on with it!

Can't they even get the spelling right? It's soooooo disrepectful to Curbs.

Andy Gray's shirt would be much to big for me if I won it at the end of the season draw ;)

The OS says about the shirt sponsorship:

"The agreement also includes a series of bonuses based on the club's success in league and cup competitions."

Looks like KRBS won't have too worry too much about dipping their hands further in their pocket, then.

    ;o)

Big thumbs up for shirt design and the sponsorship deal.
    Well done Charlton!

Best kit in years - it's mainly red with white shorts, hurrrrah!

(Although I just showed Mrs Valley11 and she said: "Curbs!? I thought he went years ago"....what does she know!)

it'd be far nicer without the stripe
but at least we have a sponsor and somebody giving us the shirts for free
so in that respect it's a success all round

Well done to the club for getting a decent sponsor on board and to Joma for (cough cough) coming up with a quite decent strip! Although I agree with Jolly above regarding the white stripe, still it is a major improvement on last year's strip.

The club gets loads of "free" kits for the first team and all the other sides eg Academy, Reserves, womens (maybe) plus training gear etc etc as part of the deal at no charge. At least that's how the deals used to work.

Many lower league clubs have to buy their own playing and training gear. They may be wearing Nike or Adidas but they had to pay for them.

That is quite different from the shirts sold in the shop. Joma get a big slice of the retail price you pay over the counter. That's where they make their money plus the marketing of their brand in the UK.

Looks like the person who drafted up the shirt was void of ideas and thought, what can I do with a red shirt. I know stick a white stipe down it don't matter where it goes.

Sorry don't like it nor the plain red socks. Pity someone can' t do a traditional CAFC kit, flashig it up with simple white and black trim.

I like it, well done Joma (1st decent attempt at our kit). Sponsorship is good also so again well done to the club, so this is a run of good decisions/actions by the club. Dare I say the magic words ' green shoots of recovery!'... Only joking, a long way to go yet.
