This will be a long shot, but I have to ask. For the website I am building about the Valley Party for the Czechs, I'd like to try and track down a couple of articles that Michael Grade wrote, in which he likened the Valley Party to the revolutions in eastern Europe. Both were in The Guardian; One appeared during the run up to the local elections, around March-April 1990. The other was his take on the return to Valley, so it would have been 7th December 1992.
Maybe somebody kept press cuttings from those momentous days. Ideally I'd like a scan of the articles, but if I can just tracjk down his reference to eastern Europe so i can quote it on the website, that would be enough.

Thanks in advance. And thanks to the CL members who have already helped with TV and photo material

i am sure i heard recently the colindale newspaper library digitised a lot of their content. You may be able to find it through them.

This might help, but you'd have to pay and at the moment they don't have every article available. If all else fails, it might be worth contacting them.

There was a letter published in VOTV that he wrote to me around the time we were 'exploring land around the Blackwall Tunnel', whilst he was at Channel Four.

Which is now the O2 :o(
