Does he remind anyone else of Bradley Wiggins a little bit?
Think it's mainly the haircut.0 -

No idea why he looks so pissed off all the time but he’s spoke very well before and after this game. Seems to be honest and warm person. We’re yet to test his tactical chops, see if he can change a game with smart substitutions, or find out if he can improve a player through coaching, but i think it’s already clear he’s likely a better man manager than Garner. From hearing the two of them speak I know which one I’d rather work for.

I like his aggy look and manner.

Thought the decision to take off CBT and bring on O'Connell was really strange but the change in formation ended up giving us a solid foothold in the game and we pushed Utd back.Exiled_Addick said:No idea why he looks so pissed off all the time but he’s spoke very well before and after this game. The more I hear him talk the more I like the bloke. Strikes me as a proper manager, walking into the dressing room at Old Trafford asking the players politely but firmly to look at him whilst he talks to them just commands total respect.I've often thought our players treat being at he club akin to being at a jolly at a holiday camp. This bloke won't allow that and I've warmed to him really quickly as I never warmed to Stewie Garner at all.10

100% agree. He now just needs to be afforded time.TEL said:The more I hear him talk the more I like the bloke. How it should work is the manager gets time and we all hope he has something. I think there is an indication he does and so yes, he definitely should be given time. As for the window. I look at us not having a lot of dosh but we have plugged, or gone at least some way towards plugging, two glaring holes that should never have been there.1

I like this manager a lot. Commands respect and will get the best out of the players IMO. I feel he will quickly identify the players who will take the club forward and gradually lose the ones who should not be here. Direct talker but with empathy.
I hope he stays with us a long time.4 -

Hopeless that Sess is having to managed and rested like this. Good news about Kane and Egbo though0

Another great on his day and ideally would love to make it a perm but next season we need a settled team and squad not players we have to “manage” and cant play most gameskillerandflash said:Hopeless that Sess is having to managed and rested like this. Good news about Kane and Egbo though0 -
