A man who has been playing in the top tier in Spain, yeah I'm sure we have a chance in signing him. This is getting tideous now

He's out of contract, so would be available on a free transfer. He's 34 so unlikely to be picked up by a La Liga side. He has bags of experience, used to live in London and wants to move inti coaching. Might make a great mentor for the youngsters as someone who has been there and done it.

No point, just signed Terry and Beckenbauer, augmenting the midfield with Beckham. The hunt for the 30 goals a season striker maybe at an end too, all this on Ackworth Sports News right now.

If he costs nothing and will agree to only take £50 a week wages then I'm in.

Why has his name even come up? He was at Arsenal and is/was at Villareal - far too good for us.

He'd surely be a very good signing for a Championship side, never mind League One. Might have been rubbish for Arsenal but he wouldn't be for smaller clubs.

Even in the twilight of his career, and lacking any further ambition - he'd still want more money than we could pay.

Anyway, at Arsenal he the centreback who was lousy in the air.

Chizz, can you smell that? No, well let me tell you - it's a huge vat of coffee. I'm more likely to be playing next season that Cygan.
