Dean Holden: "More important than that [the gifts], he [Ten Hag] invited me to Carrington to see their way. As a young coach, it's invaluable to learn from some of the best." #MUFC

joking aside... i wonder if Dean turned around and asked the question re- a loan for a half decent youngster - or at least a few connections were made - being in that kind of company and assuming we made a good impression - fans, manager and team? i'm sure the united scouts were looking at a few of our youngsters with our reputation ie gomez, pope and seeing how we can develop talent- or am I just wishfully thinking?AFKABartram said:Dean Holden: "More important than that [the gifts], he [Ten Hag] invited me to Carrington to see their way. I doubt Ten Hag has much to do with the loans of their young players.Manic_mania said:

The manager of a League One team gets knocked out the cup by a team he is a season ticket holder at, and receives an auto generated email the next morning telling him about getting tickets for the next round.mendonca said:*saying this in a kind way*...what's the relevance of this? what makes you think that? I don't know too much about him but he does give me Wenger vibes and he very much did get involved in the youth teams.se9addick said:

Wenger was "the club" like Curbs, and Fergue were. Ten Hag has now where near that sphere of influence. He has only just started to be able to buy his own players.Manic_mania said:

ok fair enough, still i can't see it as a bad thing if Holden is in and around the coaching team at man u for a few days - few arms around the shoulder to one or two youngsters - we know he speaks well and could big us up - plenty of connections could have been made yesterday. It's not as far fetched an idea as it would have been a few weeks ago IMOCafc43v3r said:

Messi used to have hundreds of shirts to give away after each game such was the demand. That rather makes United a bit tight in only giving away two of Rashford's.0
