To be fair it does say "but probably the most important thing of all is what we're doing on the community side."

It's more about the community and other things behind the scenes we never hear much about apart from the fact that it is going on.

In all the 50+ years I've been supporting The Addicks I must have seen about half a dozen or so of these 'supposed' link up's/mutual agreements with foreign clubs...none of them and I do mean NONE of them, have ever been worth a crock of shyte....complete waste of everyones time and energy.

The funniest one was the Inter Milan one with Bob Whitehand and Keith Peacock at the San Siro.

However, Valencia may want their first pickings on Kelly Youga and scupper his transfer to Real Madrid?

The one I'd really like to know about is the ASEC one. Do we still own any of the players, when will any of them be able to get work permits to play for us, is the deal still in place.

More were meant to have signed in January and gone out loan, but I can't imagine we'll keep them unless we know they're definitely going to be good enough and have a good chance of settling over here.

Forget it Sco...my bet is that we'll hear nothing more about this....if we do it'll be a first.

    That's what I'm thinking.

Look there, MyPa, the Finnish team we were/are linked with is on there. Four year deal that started in November 2004. Still listed on the website, but it most likely ended. If it was extended, would we have heard anything about it? I'd say it probably wasn't, but either way I doubt it would even get a mention.

Les Reed went out to oversee the NZ job, then came back as Ass. to Dowie.

the Club may be going down the pan, down the Leagues and into Administration but if along the way we have helped 10 people in Greenwich kick the habit and stop smoking it will all have been worth it.

Valencia have been in deep financial shit themselves - remember, Llanera were based there - and were big backers of the club - and it's possible to argue that it was one of the places where the financial crash started. (I was there in March and Llanera's offices in the city are still empty, still in red with spaces where the logos were.)

The club should have moved to the Nou Mestalla by now, but work was held up because of a lack of cash. They may still have David Villa, but they'll need the cash from him to keep going.

The city's second team, Levante, were relegated last year and are also in a mess.

how far have we fallen , and how quick....

it all smelt wrong to me when murray on national tv said " Simon is jealous of what we have achieved here at Charlton......" all downhill from there, smug is the word....

as if all the hard work had been done...

    what a shame...

And it ends ominously with the words NEXT STOP WELLING! Who was looking in their crystal ball for that one?
