Very good interview.....the contract makes sense converting to a rolling one.......I also get why DH wanted to trim the squad. A lot of common sense there rather than the TS fed BS......eased my concerns a little3

Kane injury was unfortunate on his debut after starting well.

I'm usually very doom and gloom but I personally think we are stronger than we were on January 1st. Yes we should've got a couple more in but its a decent enough squad for 2nd half of the season with nothing to play for.3

The only mention of an injury on his wikipedia page is in 2011 when he was on loan at Dundalk. So I am getting the impression he is definitely not prone to injuries.1 - Sponsored links:

I agree. I’m not too bothered by EOC going coz I don’t think he’s that good. Just an average 3rd division player. In fact all of our players are average 3rd division players. I know, it’s a fair question. The positive is he’s been training with better teams than us, but it is a slightly odd one. In fact Wednesday signed Flint (a good player admittedly) whilst Hector was on trial, which is a concern. If we get a 60% Hector, we’re getting a good league 1 player but with Thomas as the only other option there’s suddenly a lot of pressure on Ness to keep up his good work.LargeAddick said:

In its self its not a red flag. I think we are all about concerned by signing players who have had long term injuries or not played for years but as he was on the bench a lot for Fulham for 2 years I assume he was "match fit" then.3 - Sponsored links:

I think the points you make are valid Pudds and the thin squad, as you quite rightly state, is exasperated by the injury prone players in the squad. We know Kane will be back but has to be managed, Sess' is fit but once again has to be managed. The point I think you missed is the versatility of the current squad. Clare for instance can and has played in the middle three, Kane, when fit, can occupy both full back positions even though predominately right sided, but he can and has played as a right winger. In terms of the front three, Bonne is clearly the middle man up top but Leaburn has played there and done very well and I would suggest that Leaburn could also replace JRS, as can CBT or Campbell if needs be. I'm ever hopeful that if new owners do arrive, they send Anke to a top specialist and get to the root of his problem. I think with 19 games left there is enough in the squad, if it was 46 games there wouldn't be.Pudds said:
