What would have been and still could be a good idea would be to put the whole clip on Charlton TV where a £5 purchase would give you access.
  • Donated.
Last year I was put on amber list and told to get tested again this year.
I do have some of the symptoms, so fingers  crossed.
  • Had forgotten all about this so glad it was bumped. Donated. Great cause
  • Anybody else get an email reminder today and 12 minutes later another email cancelling the booking ? I logged in to the account with the BK charity and the booking isn’t showing on there

Yesterday's reminder again stated that you must bring a paper copy of your booking confirmation.

I got an amber reading a couple of years back.
Thought the advice was to consult your GP?
    Anyway that's what I did.
GP did another PSA test and finger up the bum exam. All normal.
Who told you to leave it a year?
  • Thanks people for bumping the thread, I’d forgotten it was this weekend!

Does anyone know where 'the old casino area' is in the West Stand- apparently the testing area tomorrow?

@chilham Please come into the main West Stand reception and you will be directed to the casino.

@letthegoodtimesroll If you want me to check that you still have an appointment please DM me your name and time you were booked in for and I will ask.
  • FOR 48 HOURS BEFORE THE TEST, PLEASE AVOID ANY VIGOROUS EXERCISE, PARTICULARLY BIKE RIDING, AND AVOID HAVING SEXUAL INTERCOURSE OR EJACULATION, AS THESE COULD IN SOME CASES CAUSE AN ELEVATED READING WITH YOUR TEST RESULTS

There goes my regular Friday night....bike ride  ;)

Thanks @Tracey but it’s all sorted. I rang them and was told they’d had a number of cancellations and it might be that mine got cancelled by mistake. They reinstated it and I’ve printed the form.

I walked 100 miles for this great cause in January, although it didn’t go on the just giving page the £150 I raised went direct to them.
I also had my test done in January and all was ok, keep supporting Tracey and this great cause.

    I had that issue too.

Very efficiently organised and smoothly run operation. Well done to all those involved in the organisation (especially @Tracey) and I hope we all get green letters!

Jus got in, there’s about 50 in front of me, not sure why it’s so busy, as I had the same time last year, just walked straight in. Didn’t need you paper booking.

We all have allotted slots, maybe it started late?
  • There was a queue outside and a short wait once in. Maybe fifteen minutes in total which isn’t a problem given the number of us who signed up. Thought it was all pretty straightforward. Thanks to Tracey and everyone else who has organised it.
  • I arrived at 2:20 and didn't leave until 2:50 so quite a queue. Well organised and friendly so no complaints

Think a load turned up at the same time, some late for their slot, some early.
