Is it doing your head in?

I'm trying hard to keep up with all the speculation and insights but I'm beginning to sink under the weight of conflicting information overload.
I've tried banging my head on the keyboard I've taken the dog for long walks and even considered a hobby.
But that uneasy feeling remains. I don't know what to think about all this. I don't know who has really got a handle on this stuff and as a result I'm left unsure who to believe and who not to.
I just want to see the way forward. At the moment the IMPRESSION is that the club is all over the shop. It maynot be the case but someone in charge needs to put out something to counter that impression and pretty quick in my view.
I'm normally positive about things and I know I'm just a fan and all that, but I'm really worried the way this situation seems to be running away with itself to the detriment of the club.
It's not just me who feels like this is it?

    Addicks Anonymous.

Run it past Esther Ranson, she did a fine job getting child line set up.

Actually, with the amount of suicidal tendancies on here, if we set it up as premium rate phoneline we might raise enough to buy out the board and gazzump the prospective new owners.

It was nice to spend a night out with a few addicks and an honorary öirish Addick and not discuss the current situation, the only comments cafc related were referring to the old days out or to games we were looking forward to in the coming season. Maybe burying heads in the sand until things pan out is the best option?
  • Don't think many will be able to cope too well with another season like the last and the chances are that the mood, if we don't get some good news soon, may just kick start another year of under achievement.

So take 10000 anxious addicks charge them a £5 a minute let them talk for an hour( won't be able to stop them eh) that works out at 3 million an hour we will wipe out the debt over a weekend and still have enough for a centre back and a striker ;-)
If only it were that easy.....:-(

If only I could afford £300 per hour to talk bollox.

It's much more economical just to write bollox on here.
But it won't wipe out debt. And it won't buy us a striker who can actually score goals.

    ;o)

You've summed up just how I feel, 3blokes.

This thread is becoming like a drug - keep trying to give it up but find myself coming back for more....

I read it as "and even considered a hubby" which I guess answers your original question.

Promised myself not to write on any of the rumour threads unless thre was something definite to pass an opinion on. That was bloody weeks ago and there's still nothing, only more supposition. And it's raining!
