The late Bobby Curtis was my favourite RB. Not the answer to the Q here I know.

Jay da silva did ok for us which is probably more than enough to be the best we’ve had that is still playing if you don’t include Konsa or Gomez as right backs.

edited to say just realised he’s a left back, and I’m an idiot.

I thought da Silva usually played left back for us but the old memory could be playing tricks.

If it's someone who is currently still playing then it's got to be Gomez.

If you include anyone past or present then Humphrey.

Hewie 19 full caps for Scotland mainly left back although he played on the right for us.
    Young 7 full England caps.

    Sean Clare for me.

There’s just something about the way he lets his man go at corners, or commits unnecessary fouls that you just can’t teach. A special talent.

Switch to 3 at the back and play Gomez, Konsa and someone else, Aribo as striker like he played in the Europa League, put in McGeady for a CM and play in a 343?

I'll be honest, I'm trying to build a FIFA team, an can't decide who to put in at RB
Alfie Doughty playing on the wrong side, Steven Sessegnon style?

Doesn’t fit Foxy’s criteria, but I thought Greg Shields was great in that position, although I don’t think he played many games for us.

You know, the bloke who played on the other side to Mark Reids. Peter Shirtliffs  and Steve Thompsons played at Centre Backs. And Bob Bolders in goals. Lennie Lawrences knew a good signing….only made one bad one…. Kenny Achampongs.

Who's the best right back we've ever had but not actually the best right back we've ever had?

Bob Curtis in my time going to the Valley, best at the moment still playing would be Joe Gomez.
