Storage advice needed

I need to store some furniture (moving house ... long story) in the Bromley area and have settled on the Big Yellow Self Storage company in Farwig (or, depending on the graffiti at the time, "Earwig" or "Fartwig") Lane. Is this a smart decision? Is there anywhere significantly cheaper?

they work out quite expensive, you end up paying a big deposit and a months in advance and then the rest by direct debit0

If you don't mind hiring a van think about taking the furniture outside of the south east.....I shoud imagine storage rates in this neck of the woods are more expensive.
See if Big Yellows rates are less elsewhere for example.0
