Enjoyed the newest ep of Race across the world Canada! Really not much of a fan of the Father and daughter duo. Not Ladi + Monique, the other pair. I find the Dad really obnoxious/annoying
I’m with you on that. I’m trying really hard to find something endearing about either of them. It’s just not happening 🫣
The two middle aged women are the most likeable pair. Ladi is a good guy but his daughter is a bit of a princess.
I think that Ladi has made her a princess.
A couple of bits from last week, about driving the rental cars, there was clips of teams driving in yesterday’s show with where the back seats were empty, so no cameramen in the car. Also I’m sure I see a clip where the two girls were in their car, one in the passenger seat and the other behind her, so who was driving? I’ll have to check again to see if I was seeing things.
They picked up another girl to car share. The one in the red jacket they hugged before getting in the car was also looking for a car share. The driver was obviously the one who offered to take all 3.
Yea and he charged them a fair whack for the pleasure!
I don’t think they went with the original fella who clearly was trying to fleece them, the git.
They did he's driving the car in that scene!
Really? I missed that. I can’t believe they went with him. Fecker!
What about Barry and I’ll be leaving in 30mins and I’ll give you a lift?
He just had the runs, was still in the supermarket toilet.

The absentee father stuff is laid on a bit thick too.
He was at work, presumably a flight of stairs away, he didn't leave when you were a baby or anything.
Most children of landlords I know loved growing up running a pub, being a big part of the community etc.
Just watched two excellent docuseries on Netflix. I watched in the wrong order but can highly recommend Lennox Hill and Emergency NYC. The doctors and staff are just simply wonderful human beings. Not a fan of the US in general and all that goes on there but these two series are heart warming.
Watched the second episode of Blue Lights this week, but found it similar to the first. Bleak, depressing, and slow moving. Wont be watching any more of them.
It gets better. Stick with it. It is depressing but I enjoyed it after a slow start.
Anybody watched Rain Dogs yet? I caught ten minutes of episode two last night (didnt see episode 1) and found it really entertaining, I love a black comedy. I will iplayer it from the begining on the strength of that.

Watched the whole series. Some funny bits but found it hard to relate to the characters.

I liked it. Bonus for the use of Werewolves of London in that episode 👍🏼

Just watched the latest episode of Succession...... All I can say is...... It's one of THE best in the whole series. And I recommend this series to everyone on here that hasn't watched it yet.
best show on television right now. Real shame that it's the final season, but as you say - incredible episode. Brilliant in every department.
With all the stuff going on with Rowling I’m surprised anyone is going near it. I’ve never been into it tbh but I find the fallout quite unsettling. I was at a dinner party at Christmas and we played a game after and she appeared in one of the questions. The daughter of the host (in her teens) was reading it out and refused to say her name. Bizarre 🤷♀️

I watched it on Monday night and now I still can't get it off my head... The whole cast is amazing. I am slightly surprised that not many people in this thread are watching it. Is it because it's not airing in the UK? The creator Jesse Armstrong is English and I just found out that the director of the latest episode is English too (I watched a Behind the Scenes clip and he's got an English accent) so you should be proud!
it's on sky atlantic (like all HBO shows), which is a premium channel in the uk. Yes jesse armstrong is also the creator of peep show - possibly the best british comedy in the last decade or two, most of the other writers are english comedy writers too (explains the hilarious bits fitted between all the drama). He's ridiculously talented.

Some segments of the world are utterly insane and I include the twattish people involved with the Harry Potter films in that. JK Rowling being attacked is the most mental thing, when you read what she has said it is not in the slightest bit controversial or offensive, in fact its the opposite.
Binged watched 4 part series Obsessed on Netflix. Surgeon having a steamy affair with his sons fiance. I would suggest right up @Fanny Fanackapan and others street.

Thought he'd only be half an hour but no.

I suppose Fantastic Beasts etc haven't been that successful, so they're going back to the original familiar story.
