First team with a few youngsters. Good to see Fortune will be back.

Looks like another three trialists in Sam Lloyd, Youga Kelly and Jose Semendo.

    Again confirms they'll be going.
  • No announcement on Moo2 - I'm guessing he just didn't turn up for pre-season. Perhaps no announcement because we're in talks about cancelling his contract. I'd imagine we want a fee for him so won't tear it up. Is anyone in the know?

I remember someone said he saw him at the Welling game, walking out afterwards with Racon (BigRedEvil I think).

He's got another 2 years on his contract, I can't see us terminating it. I think it could take a while, maybe right until deadline day, but I can see us selling him cheaply or loaning him out for a season, probably to a French club.

That says he is set for a medical not that he has passed one ;-)

I'm going with my little brother too. He is 31 though:). Not many boozers of quality near the ground unfortunately. Half moon, grapes and black swan are all ok if a bit forgetable. If anyones passing through the centre then the white hart or the punch bowl are worth a look

Unless there is a change of manager we won't see Moo2 in a Charlton shirt again.

Gray is financially out of our league now, the sooner the deal is done and we can get a replacement in the better.

With a transfer fee and his wages off the books I'd like to think we could see a direct replacement and another CB in.

Looking forward to seeing us play again tonight. I live in East Grinstead which is only 10 mins away, so well pleased to see Charlton coming down to my neck of the woods tonight. I'm going with neighbours, as one of them is an ex Crawley Town player and is entertaining another 'Charlton' family with me from our Court too. Apparantly a meal in the exec lounge and then the match. Lovely!

BTW, if we stop selling now and bring 2 or 3 in, looking at that squad above I think we will have more than enough quality to compete well in Lge 1. It's now all about lack of depth, so long term injuries or lack of, will be a key factor as to what we do next year I reckon.

Long term injuries to a number of key players didn't help our cause last season.

Let's hope we're a bit luckier this time round.

    Very true.

My dream starts with C and ends with Y and when he comes, the good times will come with him!

Yes, apparently his parties are even better than Pardew's!

Getting back on topic, i do hope that we can get another Bray style thread on here for tonight's match, so i would encourage those going to drink as much as possible!

    IMHO

Sodje (no fee) and Kandol (£2.50) are quite possibly IF the takeover goes through and the wage structure is increased.

Lambert I reckon is wishing thinking, would cost over 1m and I don't think we'll have that either way.
