Henry Surtees, son of former double world champion racer John, was killed by a flying wheel while racing at Brands Hatch on Sunday.

His Uncle Stuart Surtees is a Charlton season ticket in the East stand who I've meet a few times. Lovely bloke

RIP Henry, thinking of the family.

    RIP indeed, seems it was a freak accident, but if you indulge in dangerous sports then these things will happen.

    Great talent and a sad loss.

    Not even his accident, a car in front came off, clipped a tree, lost his spoiler and rear near side wheel, which then flew back onto the track, straight into Henry's face. The Eurosport clip is on You Tube.
