There are a lot of holes in that squad0

Oh look.....no LB again !!3

As has been the case for the last number of seasons, it’s a squad that needs another total rebuild. I wouldn’t be confident of Leaburn , Campbell and Dobson all staying either and even Mitchell and Ness may bring interest. I don’t believe Hector will sign. The only saving grace is that we have a manager in place straight away, although presumably transfers will be on hold until the takeover happens . We are in for another difficult summer, no doubt .Southbank said:There are a lot of holes in that squad1 -
I make it at least 6 holes before anyone leaves/we try to upgrade any positions (assuming at least 1 or both of Hector and Thomas sign new deals).
RB x 1
LB x 2
CM x 1
ST x 2 (would be 1 if Chuks wasn’t as injury prone)
I’d then expect at least 4 of the current squad to move on (Jojo, Kirk, DJ, McGrandles), so they’ll all need replacing too.1 -

Why are so many expecting JoJo to leave? We need cover for the keeper - if AMB gets injured we need a decent keeper to step in and also to provide competition - one of the reasons we have struggled in recent years is due to having insufficient squad cover in most positions.1

Will an international keeper want to be second choice in League One?East Kent Addick said:Why are so many expecting JoJo to leave? As above, JoJo wants 1st team, AMB has made that first choice spot his own under Dean and a move away would generate funds (hopefully to be re-invested elsewhere). We do not need his quality and value sat on the bench all season while we are struggling at left back or up front re quality… IMHOEast Kent Addick said:Why are so many expecting JoJo to leave? International keeper is stretching it - he's had half a season as first choice at Swindon in league 2 and half a season with us! I know we'll sell if an offer comes in as that's where we now but in an ideal world we'd keep both and have some competition. Knowing our luck we'll give him away and then AMB will get a serious injury in September!Ross said:

There's no way any sane fan is writing Wollacott off shirley?wmcf123 said:

He was a solid keeper for us before breaking his finger. He's a good age and should be kept.3
