Adverts issue

Been having this for a few weeks now.

When I scroll down and get to an advert, the browser freezes for about 30 seconds. Can't scroll up or down. I can navigate to other websites however when it freezes.

Anyone else experiencing this phenomenon?

On mobile.

    Don't touch the advert when you scroll.
    Touch above or below the advert.

    I've had occasional freezing (Android) as well. Only on this site, I hadn't considered it was the adverts, but will be extra careful now

    I've noticed that, but I've such quick thumbs, I've touched it before I even known it was there.

    Today on my PC (Windows 10 and Chrome) for the first time there are adverts at the bottom of the page, as well as the side. They're the sort that you can lower, but will return when you go to another page

    I’m getting the ones you can close with the little arrow. 

    At the top of each page on my phone.
    At the bottom of each page on the iPad.

    Totally agree with others really annoying adverts at the bottom of my iPad.

    Yep, not sure what has happened. Assume an automated roll out for Google. Will get it sorted

    Not sure if others are experiencing these but recently i occasionally get pop up adverts which you have to close when clicking through pages. It's only when i use my windows laptop and it's only happened a few times. Haven't noticed it on my android phone.

    I use adblocker on my pc and adblock browser on my phone. No ads for me on here or other sites

    AFKA doesn't like you mentioning that - it's adverts that fund the site.
