    Remember reading Money at school (didn't expect the school library to have anything so adult!) and thinking it was the coolest book ever. RIP

    Time’s Arrow may have been his masterpiece but the autobiography Experience was emotional particularly when it touched on the murder of his cousin by Fred and Rose West.

    In Keith Talent, I think London fields created one of the great modern literary characters. A very talented writer.

    Indeed. His description of the West's 'troglodytic squalor' was very powerful.
