Like him or not..fair play to Thomas for the farewell message, came in when we needed rescuing from Mouthall & Co...shame it went wrong for us both...76

To be fair he saved the club from ESI so deserves gratitude for that at least. Shame it went so wrong but hopefully a new dawn begins here...30

Fair play Thomas. Saved us when we needed him most. Not everything works out as intended.17

I must admit he comes across as quite classy in that closing statement. Doesn't hide the fact he's made mistakes along the way (obviously doesn't mention the decimation of the backroom team and the ridiculous intervening from his family) but he's not full of hate and spite25

Nice message. His heart was in the right place, he got the parasites out and steadied the ship. If he hadn't thought football was easy he could have been a success.22

It didn't work out and obvious mistakes were made that could and should have been avoided. But that is a very classy statement.47

Presumably this is the end of Keohane as well as he was employed by TS. Surely there’s no role left for him now10

I will never dislike Thomas Sandgaard, forget about the mediocre level of football produced under his reign, he saved us from a bunch of crooks.
He showed ambition in signings and we shouldn't forget he appointed managers who at the time, seemed the right fit for CAFC in Adkins and Garner. He didn't leave us up shit creek with unqualified managers like Roland the Rat did.
I wish him all the best and personally thank him for his time.
Now hopefully these new owners are the right fit for us and we can climb our way back up the football leagues.

A very decent farewell statement from Sandgaard.49

A classy end to a topsy turvy chapter in the story of CAFC.0
-
A classy way to go. Strange that it is both his arrival at and departure from CAFC in which he has displayed the kind of style needed. Far too many mistakes between these events and most damning of all his tolerance and support of a toxic bullying culture at the club throughout his tenure. I don't wish him ill but I'm very glad he has moved on.34
-
A nice enough message.
But an owner that feels the need to even mention the 'our club, your car ' PR stunt as one of his great achievements tells you all you need to know. A project in vanity was about all it amounted to.
We've pretty much been dragging our heels in custard for 3 years. A legacy that hopefully everyone of us will have forgotten about in a year or so.8 -

Yeah OK, great statement.
Then I read Olly's tweet.
I'm glad it's over but there's stuff that needs remembering too 😔17 -

Why havent we signed someone yet?3

Disappointment is my overall feeling about the Sandgaard era, when I think back to the positivity of the early days when he saved us from some genuinely terrible owners, and the optimism back in autumn 2020.
For what he did back then, his regime will ultimately be considered a positive one, even with the mismanagement since then.3 -
