If we can't score against this lot we really ARE in trouble.SELR_addicks said:Bristol R are a very limited team from the looks of this half.
We just need to focus on getting the easy stuff right, stop misplacing passes and giving the ball back to them so easily.1 -
CBT cuts inside but his shot is deflected for a corner.1

May does look so deserted sometimes up top, running everywhere, looking for support, which is slow to appear...4-5-1 sometimes...3

Payne swings corner in, but keeper picks the ball out of the air easily.1

MY GOD do we miss Rak-Sayki

Very impressive. We actually look better without Fraser. But can we score ?1

Rovers come down our left, Jones puts it out for a corner. Dobbo heads the corner away, and the half time whistle goes.1

There was just one minute of added time
Makes me laugh... Didnt take many games for Footballers to cotton on to the fact that they wont get away with time wasting.0 -
It has been said in many a circle that we may need a couple of dependable and consistent strikers PDQ. I for one do not heed such conjecture. It will all be ok!The Prince-e-Paul said:Plenty of goal threat, but no goal. Same old.1 -
We aren't set up for May at all. Doing him no favours and making him look like a headless chicken.
Payne may as well not be on the pitch with the amount of influence he has on this game.
Dobson MOTM at the moment.4 -
No bite in this team. May will be lucky to get double figures this season and he's our only threat. Worrying as we played some really good football but it merely flatters without much menace.1

Playing like he has tonight he's already won it.Valley11 said:Dobson on a mission to win player of the year by September
Man has been absolutely outstanding tonight.3 -
Decent performance but lacking that final ball or cutting edge.
Doesn't help when you play so many long balls forward to May.2 -
Dobson was fricking class that half. Great show.
Well played CBT, Ness and Edun too.2 -
To be fair there wasn't enough last season and this season the threat is diminished without Rak Sakyi. May doesn't have half the ball skills.Croydon said:I'm starting to think there's maybe not enough goals in this team
That said May never got a 5 year deal from and Premier League side.0 -
That was bugging me. Knew the face but no name. CheersBrownie12 said:

We’ve looked very impressive for 2/3rds of the pitch. Dobson and Edun particular highlights.
Think people are being a bit harsh saying Bristol aren’t very good. They’ve picked up two solid draws against Portsmouth and Barnsley already.
They’ve just not been allowed to play by Dobson, Camara, Edun, Jones and Ness.4 -
Perfect summary/analogy!Pelling1993 said:Tee to Green we’ve been good. But we can’t putt to save our lives0 -
Payne breaking down every attack we have. Overall we are playing some nice stuff but it feels like the only way we will score is a CBT cut in if he can actually hit the target. Feel sorry for May, he desperately needs a partner up top.5
