Such a shame.
If Luis Binks is not around their first team and isn't just playing to get mins , that would be one hell of a CB loan.
That's modern football for you, a Gillingham born player, who came through the ranks at Spurs, and has already played in the MLS and Serie A1 -

Oh sorry I didn't realise he was only there on loan , he's got quite the unusual CV! Although I think Montreal and Bologna share owners.1 -
As said some massive over reactions to this mauling. (not you Fanny)
a mismatch of sides with what is pretty much an U18/U19 side v an almost the first team of a Championship side.
I really dislike how SOME fans, especially those that take no other interest in the U21s react to results. If we win then all the kids should start Saturday cos the first team is crap. If they lose then the whole club is doomed and we should close the academy as it is a waste of money.
It's a development league and it has developed a lot of good players for us. Some times you are going to taking a thrashing, other days we hand them out.
PS well said @sam3110

Any idea of our team ? Their report only gives their line up.0

Chris Lock’s side are expected to line-up in a 4-3-3 formation with Mitchell joining captain Nazir Bakrin, Josh Laqeretabua and Matt Dench in a back four in front of goalkeeper Henry Molyneux.
Jason Adigun, Harvey Kedwell and Jeremy Santos make up a midfield three behind Tolu Ladapo, Patrick Casey and Henry Rylah.
Prince Adegoke, Jacob Roddy, Keenan Gough, Jacob Safa and Ibrahim Fullah are named on the substitutes bench

Game today I believe.
I can’t attend in person due to a dental emergency but hope to get home for the stream.
Interesting we have today, and then another game tomorrow, but as yet no new manager to run the rule over players or decide which match best suits which players.

Fullah was born in April 2007 which has made me feel very old!1 -

Fullah is a midfielder and Mbick a forward.
Worth bearing in mind before the "close the academy" comments begin if we don't thrash Birmingham 5 - 00 - Sponsored links:

Is there anyone left out today who would usually play that means is therefore likely to feature in the pizza cup tomorrow?0

Very inexperienced team.
We shall see what’s what.
Good luck anyway, learn from the experience whatever else.0 -
No Huke I see, nor Kedwell, nor Elewere…others too.0

Those in bold played in the last U21s game so might play or be on the bench tomorrow. Mitchell is now at Colchester

AMB will away on international duty, so there'll definitely be a rookie keeper in the squad tomorrow for a start0

1-0 Casey.
That’s after Rylah hit the bar a minute earlier.1 -
1-0 Casey taps in to open scoring in a lovely sunny Valley0

Actually Rylah should have scored. He missed a couple of open goals against Wigan previously.
C’mon Henry lad.0 -
Casey looks a proper goalhanger. have not had one of them for a while.1
