Thanks for the info. Looks like this will stop me going to the game ( probably for the better)0

Grim. Last Saturday they at least also ran a train to Charlton from Victoria via Lewisham and Blackheath, to give 4 trains an hour.0

I take it Blackheath to and fro to Charlton is not on.killerandflash said:Grim. Last Saturday they at least also ran a train to Charlton from Victoria via Lewisham and Blackheath, to give 4 trains an hour.

Thanks for the info...coming from Basingstoke and a mare to get home after the game. You are relying on them running also with no other problems. Probably have to leave at 4.30 or dont go or gamble that the 17.14 is running and there is a train home to Basingstoke.0

With all the time being added to games this season, it may be difficult to catch the 5:14, in which event, the 5:44 will be overloaded (even with a small attendance). It may have to be a bus to North Greenwich and the Jubilee Line.
14 minutes were added on to the first half of a Conference game last night, despite the absence of any significant injuries. Things are getting a little out of hand0

For those going to central London, maybe the bus to Woolwich Arsenal and the Lizzy line up t’ town.3

Strange that the club do not promote 'Valley Express' more, surely that would help supporters in some locations without rail services or limited services to travel to/from the game on Saturday.

That 17:14 will be rammed though, and unless you're one of the first out of the ground, chances are you won't get on it.charltonbob said:

The alternative is bussing or walking to North Greenwich for the Jubilee direct to Waterloo0

Didn't think the trains would be a problem, I thought everyone who supported Charlton lived in Woolwich?0
