    Well my gob is well and truly smacked.

    Not by the news that Dickson could be going to Gillingham but that the OS is running this as a tag line. So unlike Charlton to do this.

    Jackson? Who else do Gills have?

    Can't see them letting us have Jackson unless he is carrying an injury.

    Dennis Oli is their Dickson equivalent so probably him.

    McCammon was our best ever bit of business...

    Not sure of the point of Jackson. If we stick him on his tod up front and batter the ball at him, he'll not do any better than Dicko.

    Only Barcham or Jackson would be good imo. Barcham is very under-rated.

    Not delighted with any of those options. Even if it's Jackson, we are still swapping a player with proven scoring ability in League 1 for a player who has only proved himself at League 2 level. McLeod had a great season in League 2 with MK Dons but clearly ain't good enough for anything above that.

    Can't understand why it's on the OS, preferred the days when transfer business was conducted in dignified silence.

    Barcham only signed a new deal around a month ago, so lets hope its Jackson. If it is we'll be spending a few quid along with losing Dickson but i wouldn't mind that at all.

    I think it is Barcham the lad they got from Tottenham plays left wing as well makes perfect sense.

    Gillingham Forwards (In order of quality imo):

    Simeon Jackson (22) Canadian International last season for gills 41 apps / 17 goals
    Andy Barcham (22) last season for gills 33 apps / 6 goals (Includes the loan spell from Spurs)
    Dennis Oli (25) last season for gills 31 apps / 4 goals
    Mark McCammon (30) last season for gills 31 apps / 5 goals
    Luis Cumbers (20) last season for gills 7 apps / 1 goal
    Andy Pugh (20) last season for gills 1 app
    Jacob Erskine new signing from Bromley.

    But it's Dickson in the swap deal, not Mcleod?
