    We had an academy striker a few years ago that scored lots of goals but decided to go to college in America. Does anyone remember his name and is he still playing football?

    Alex Willis , he's back over here now and I believe is playing for Sheppey United in the Isthmian League.

    Revised to include both Gilbey and Willis (who escaped my attention completely). Incidentally...Charlotte 49ers, Willis's club, have an athletics team too. Charlotte Athletic. So he's gone from Charlton Athletic to Charlotte Athletic. Sort of.

    Who the hell is Luke Daniels?  I honestly have no idea. I have googled him and I am still none the wiser

    He was brought in as an emergency loan keeper and only stayed on the bench.

    Willis is back in England now by the looks of things?
