The old boy could be running down the wing at Welling next Saturday for Farnborough.
Loved watching him play. When he did those crossfield runs I was amazed that he did not end up down the tunnel.

    Loved watching Ricky play and still think the guys who booed him from the Covered end when returning with Oxford when struggling with injuries after being kicked for a decade are arseholes. 🙄

    19 goals in 58 games for Charlton which wasn't too shabby. A journeyman footballer who probably only had one decent contract which was when he got the move to Sheffield United from Cafc. Only played 5 games for United in 2 seasons.

    Ricky retired once with a bad back but good to see the 36 year old is playing again.

    One of my favourite memories of Ricky was the Duchatelet era game against Coventry when we rained all those pigs down on the pitch. I saw him control one with his thigh and, with superb timing, he set up and executed a perfect volley. Pig into touch. Job done.  :)
