    Nothing to see here
  • The fact you think this was and I quote “meant as banter” is enough for me to call you out on it. Take a look in the mirror pal.
Good lord. Clearly, I wrote that as in the guy doing it meant it as banter. It's not what I'd classify as banter.

Obviously you're just someone who loves to get offended and brand those that don't agree with you as disgusting, from way up there on your high horse.

    You're a pillock mate.

Anyone who thinks it is in any way close to or meant as banter is the pillock. If that’s not what you meant to imply then apologies but that’s how I read it.

First game of the season home to Liverpool at Selhurst park back in the eighties. We had a minute silence for Stuart Leary and through it Liverpool fans sang ‘who the fucking he’ll is he ‘ Classy scousers.
I remember that - shocking, but I wasn’t surprised, low life scummy Scouse wankers
  • Sheffield Wednesday have parted company with Xisco Muñoz, who leaves Hillsborough with immediate effect.

Xisco’s backroom staff - Miguel Muñoz, Miguel Gomila, Roberto Cuesta Roman and Antonello Brambilla - also depart the club.

Under-21s manager Neil Thompson will take the team for Saturday’s home game against Huddersfield Town in the Championship.

  • Not quite sure how he got the job anyway. His previous job saw him manage a Cypriot team where he was sacked after 3 months.
  • Neil Warnock ?
  • Personally think Fraeye deserves another crack at English football

This is the same Chairman who appointed squirrel face.

  • Sheff Weds owner says he won't put any more money into Weds then pays off the manager and all his back room staff.
  • Didn't realise Lyle Taylor had been training with them.

Wonder if the owner now saying he's not funding anything more and/or the manager going may have stopped any move.

  • Sheffield Wednesday have been put under a registration embargo by the English Football League because of money owed to HM Revenue and Customs.

It means Wednesday cannot register any players without prior written consent.

    It never rains
  • Frankly they’re already relegated so spending on players in January seems pointless. Better to try and get their house in order and hope for a sale.

Seeing as all they sign are out of contract players as the transfer window is shut then it really is of no consequence.

It's like me telling my son not to spend too much money when out shopping & then only giving him a fiver.

    Fucking pointless.

They are unable to register any player be that for a fee, loan or out of contract.
  • I wonder if Lyle Taylor was still training there. 🤣

  • Dejphon Chansiri unleashes astonishing call to 'negative fans' to pledge £2m in next days to 'save their club'. 'Cash flow issue' at S6. HMRC not paid. Player/staff ££ due today could go unpaid. Multi-window embargo concern.

  • Once you're talking about big HMRC debts the writing is usually on the wall already in my opinion...
  • Sheffield Wednesday owner Dejphon Chansiri says they have paid their bill with HM Revenue and Customs and will come out of a transfer embargo.

Chansiri is behaving like a petulant teenager.

His dummy spitting reflects a complete and total lack of understanding of what it takes to be a decent owner/custodian of a football club.
  • The fact that his father doesn't want him in the family business, whilst his brother has been put in charge of running the whole company says it all.

I mean it does show that for all the multiple and many failings of Duchatelet, Sandgaard etc it's not a Charlton problem. It's a football problem.
  • I agree about that but there are aspects of a club that I hate:

    1. Having ’ultras’. I can’t say that I hate them as individuals, but as a collective, they belong in Marseille or Paris, not London. I hate them staining the English game.

    2. Having dancing girls. They belong to USA sports, not English. If you want to see them in England go to a nightclub.

    3. Using a live animal in the stadium. Is that really necessary?

    4. Mixing blue and red. Traditionally in England clubs play in red OR blue. Not both.

They claim to be a big part of English football history (founded in when? 1584?) but actually they have no respect of English football traditions and my feeling for that goes beyond dislike.

I’m not keen on them either.
