Missed this momentous occasion but i'd like to say that I have passed 10,000 posts on this site.

God i'm sad. :-)

    After about 18.5 years as a regular contributor I’ve just today reached this milestone. It works out roughly as two posts every three days. Some days I might make 5 posts, others none at all, but I reckon over the years that I take a look at the site 5 days out of 7. 
    How many lifers have reached this many? I guess that there must be a couple of hundred.

    I remember some time ago AFKA came up with a post outlining the top 10 posters...just had a quick check, and looks like I am averaging over 10 a day, and I have just added another, 🤦‍♂️ wish I hadn't checked now...HELP!!

    21,300 in just over 12 years - average about 5 per day.

    I probably post less now I'm retired than I did when I was working. Not sure what that says!

    51k but I think about 50k of those were in my twenties. Now I'm late thirties my average will definitely have fallen.

    I might be misinterpreting the figures but looks like i'm in excess of 80k comments and before duchatalet i had a bit of a break for a few years and posted as Bexley Dan before that  - overall i must easily be well in the 100k + club. A lot of time spent and a lot of wisdom passed on - you lucky people  :D

    FA, Henners. Killerandflash and Callum off the top of my head are our Champions League placed Big 4. Henners would be in a whole league of his own but has mellowed in old age and (almost) stopped arguing with people since retiring :-) 

    I’m battling with the likes of Covered End. Oggy, SHG, Dazzler etc for the remaining European places.

    Would of been a bit more but the mods on here wouldn't accept me when I first tried to join a couple of years before, the fascists..
     but still since October 2011 over 13 and a half thousand posts... Not too bad.

    Quality not quantity is what matters, AFKA - that's what I tell the missus anyway.
