    Dobson wake up
Jesus Dobbo what are you doing there!?
    What?

Under no pressure played the ball straight to the feet of their striker for a clear run at the two centre backs. Luckily we got the block on the shot and cleared it away.

But easily could've been 2-1 and a momentum swing out of nothing.

Wigan come down our left, cross comes in but Wyke on the stretch loops the ball in the air and AMB claims by the LH post.

Great bit of battling back by Leaburn and then T Watson looks like he's fouled but the ref gies Wigan a throw instead

proper strikers goal. Something we haven't had in years. A player who knows where to goal is & & can finish from anywhere within 20 yards.

T Watson's default is to seek out AMB for a back pass ffs.

Hector is a brick wall tonight
Yeah definitely one that shouldn’t play Sunday
I forgot Sunday was FA Cup for a minute and I was thinking how you could drop Dobbo wit Camara going off.

But totally agree. Good chance to give McGrandles 60 minutes. Dobbo should be nowhere near the squad. Send him home and tell him to have a weekend off.

Also, to be fair, since that bad pass he's been much, much better.

He was this good vs Reading too. Having a weird old season

Some great work down the right by Dobbo and Asiimwe, unfortunately Campbell's shot "troubles the corner flag more than the goal" as Tel put it.
  • Louie Watson having a heck of a game.
  • Asgard with a Marvel-ous pass to a Charlton player

(Yes I've been desperate to use that for ages now)

Dobson does need a rest. His game is becoming loose.

Wyke is being bullied by Hector and Jones. Wow

I've said it before and I'll say it again, he is very good at defending with his feet. Taken it off the toes of Wigan players three or four times, which is important when we hold a high line and neither him nor Jones are the fastest.

Fraser looked crap on Saturday in the middle with Dobson, and he's not dynamic enough to be the 10 in a 4231, only really works in a flat 433 as the slightly more attacking one of the 3. Watson and Dobson as much as possible please

Wigan down out left, the cross deflects off Dobson. Ball comes back and the cross out for a throw near the corner flag.

Alfie is now not only joint top scorer in League 1 with Devante Cole but has had more shots than any other player in the division. One stat does not necessarily follow the other but anyone who bothered to watch that video of all his goals for Cheltenham would not be surprised that he's prepared to "buy a ticket" from anywhere on the pitch.

Tennai's face blocks a cross, which goes for a throw in, and he just walks away - If that had been me I'd have been on curled up on the ground crying for my Mum

Argh we should've been through there but Leaburn slows up the pace too much and Wigan crowd him and Campbell out.

Charlton fans calling for a pen again, after a great run from Leaburn and Campbell from the clearance, and the Leaburn goes down in the area. Nothing doing

Fair play to Mickey Appleton, no idea how he's turned them around since the previous game but whatever he did seems to be working.

Game has been a bit frantic the last 5 minutes. Think we need the midfield to put their foot on the ball and slow the game down until half time.

Shirtliff now saying Alfie May is telling the team that on the pitch too.
