I did feel very proud to have been involved when we got our shirts though.4 -
Thats the ones, @Talal "he" as in me are referring to. Bloody smart shirt I thought.0

Like @Stig was very proud to be involved, quite a few others were but @TEL
did all the heavy lifting with this if I remember correctly and wouldn’t have got anywhere without his drive.
My memory is getting hazy, but I went along to an event for the Charlton Riding School for the Disabled for a presention as we donated them £3,500 from the proceeds, which was really humbling as i know it went a long way for them. We also donated £3,500 to Demelza. Was a tremendous success. I think about 1,000 were sold.8 -
All feels a long time ago now3

Think there were a few photos of a group of us in the VOTV. Guessing would of been the black and white beach ball protest. not sure.0 -

Got one or two for sale if people haven't got this uber rare shirt.
£20 each1 -
Still have mine. It was a decent shirt. I am guessing it was the 2016/17 season - only because you very very rarely see the official shirts from that season appear on eBay (actually seen more of these). Makes the official ones quite rare I reckon as everyone was boycotting. The purple Betdaq being one of only a few I still don't have since the mid 1980's!

There were a few threads about it at the time (May 2016) but this one covers the key points if anyone wants to look back.

As others have said, great work from many but especially @TEL and @Nug, which resulted in a brilliant shirt and a fantastic donation to a much loved local charity.3 -
Yes we had 1,000 made and sold all except for a handful of XL's. I just dealt with distribution. We were able to donate more to charity as , for some reason we did not have to pay import duty.0
