You’d struggle to find worse play calling that KOC in this second half, baffling after the first half.1

Let's go Browns!1

The Giants are truly woeful!0

Thanks! The game will be indoors (in Minneapolis). I’m a Vikings fan 😊colthe3rd said:
I went to a Bears game on that trip, luckily the Mrs shelled out for club seats that had heaters above the seats. Wrap up warm if you are anywhere else at Soldier or just get enough booze in you.flyingkiwiDK said:

Was some cracking games last night when following on redzone.

Oh, and Cowboys fans can thank me, as Dak Prescott has not scored less than 24 fantasy points in every game since I cut him.1
-
CJ Stroud who’d have thought it. He is looking like he could be one hell of a QB.1

I hope you drove to Minneapolis for the Saints v Vikings game.Nug said:Visiting my son at college in US this weekend and we have driven up from Iowa to Minneapolis to watch the Vikings v Saints game tomorrow. Looking forward to it, stadium looks amazing.
As an aside, does anybody know why US sports, or is it only football, give it as the away side first?0 -
presumably from baseball where the away team always bats first so that's the order they are listed on the scoreboardAddicksAddict said:

they've decided to go with the HvA format for MLS though0 -
89-17 across the two games this year…supaclive said:The Giants are truly woeful!
Cowboys now have a softer schedule while the Eagles schedule heats up. Hopefully a chance to get within one game of them by the time they visit Dallas in mid December.
Week 11:
Cowboys @ Panthers
Eagles @ Chiefs
Week 12:
Commanders @ Cowboys
Bills @ EaglesWeek 13:
Seahawks @ Cowboys
49ers @ Eagles
Week 14:
Eagles @ Cowboys0 -

They say "Patriots at the New York Jets" and stuff like that, so I presumed that's why they write it that wayrina said:

“Versus” doesn’t seem to be a word in most American’s vocab, from my experience. It’s always said as above: “Team X at Team Y”.Hence why I try to use @ instead of v. or vs. when writing about US sports. The only time you’ll maybe hear versus is when discussing a specific team’s upcoming games, for example “Cowboys next three match ups are at Panthers, vs Commanders and vs Seahawks”.
In this context, the “versus” would signify specifically that that is a home game.0 -
I googled it - seems as though it might originate from baseball. A sport in which the away side ALWAYS bats first. That’s a fairly logical explanation so happy to take someone on the internet’s word for it.0

Good luck tonight @The Red Robin should be a cracker, both coming off heartbreakers and a must win!! Think you will edge it by 31
-
Nah, Bengals win this easily.1

Thanks for the optimism, baby!!MrOneLung said:Nah, Bengals win this easily.0 -
I reserve the right to change my opinion if Burrow gets injured in the game. In that case I would say Ravens by two scores or so.Ian Nightingale said:

Yeh Harbaugh has confirmed. Not sure Likely is up to it as a replacement. Kolar looked OK in flashes last night. In reality, it’s more Flowers, Bateman and OBJ (how good was he last night?!)MrOneLung said:

Shame Burrow went out early but I think Ravens had them anyway. Lamar cooked that secondary.Edit: Lamar is 8-1 as a starter against the Bengals.0 -

Goodnight & god bless.
See ya next year!!!0 -
That’s brutal. Injuries to star players seem to be occurring more often this year. Mark Andrews done for the year aswell by the sounds of it.0
-
Personally I think teams should only play on a Thursday if they have a bye week before. I realise that wouldn’t work but 2 games in 4 days is just crazy0
-
Apparently Flacco working out with Browns.Matt Ryan and Phil Rivers being linked with Bengals…0
-
Jets having a really torrid time on offence...
The radio coverage sounds desperate for them (their defence has kept them in the game, but that can't win them the game).0 -
Dolphins got it done. Plenty of winnable games.coming up. I'm starting to dream of a first play off win in over 20 years.1
-
How did the Commanders manage to lose to Tommy DeVito and the Giants???
I was a bit concerned about Thursday’s game but now I’m not sure I should be..!0 -
Cousins has been good for us over the years, especially this one before the injury but blimey, it’s fun having a QB that can run.0
