5th Dec 1992. What has happened with the years and Hair, with my friend H.

What a day. Everyone worked so hard to get us back and the work didn't end there. Another 15 years of hard work building up the supporter base before things started to deteriorate. We had players who weren't the best but gave everything to the cause. And now we have a bunch of players that don't seem to give a s**t.4

Us supporters are all that matters.
Seeing Olly Groome back at the club yesterday is for me like signing a new player.4 -

Lots of happy memories of that day.
But this bit sent a shudder: ‘Fryer and his board of directors owned the cub all right…but not the freehold to The Valley’
The bastards who let The Valley part from the club into Roland’s hands in more recent times are utterly despicable and have totally betrayed the hard work and unbelievable determination of the good people in that film, who fought tooth and nail to get back to SE7.I really think it’s in our DNA to own the ground, more than other clubs, and perhaps irrationally I don’t think we’ll ever achieve success until the club and ground are under one ownership. Perhaps that is irrational, I dunno. But shame on Roland and the lowlifes who struck that deal.6 -
