If memory serves me correct signed from WBA, sold back to WBA, resigned and then sold to Swindon. Might be wrong of course.Lewis Coaches said:
We got him from WBA and passed him onto Swindon as I recall.Captain Peacock said:Ray Treacy (twice).Don’t remember signing him twice.
if I am wrong forgive me.
Need someone with the big red book to confirm.
Looking at this list reminds me of a cab journey to Dublin airport. Talk about blarney the driver could talk. He asked who I supported and then asked how Mark Kinsella was viewed. I could tell he was really proud when I told him he was a legend. The driver told me he started at Home Farm
and it was just round the corner - he looked at his watch - I think he wanted to take me there, but I had a plane to catch. He had plenty of other stories to tell me including the day he'd pulled up at the traffic lights beside U2's drummer. He apparently wound down his window to chat to him and asked if he still kept his eye in and still practised his drumming.
Home Farm is an amazing boys club that has produced 43 Republic of Ireland Internationals including Ray Treacy, Mark Kinsella and Theo Foley.

Didn't last very long but Coquelin was a level above when we had him in the Championship.8

Some fantastic goals, notably Derby at home and Palace away in the cup.0 -

I think Plumb was meant to be a striker.WrightCharlie said:Alan Campbell, Dickie Plumb and Graham Moore....... a good midfield, I think they all played together.....?2 -

From swimming pool lifeguard to arguably the most in form goalkeeper in the country for probably a 10 game period or so at the end of 97/98 season. I'm not sure even his mum had heard of him when we signed him.[Undr The Cosh] Saša Ilić | Loan Sharks To Wembley Hero 🅴 #undrTheCosh
He is on the Undr the Cosh podcast talking about his early years and playing youth football and making the move to the UK and signing with us. Interesting listen!0 -

Interesting listen!I do think we would have gone up with anyone in goal behind the Mills, Rufus, Youds , Bowen defence . It needed Kiely to come in for me to see a really good keeper for us ( I don’t go back as bad as Bolder).0 -
Chris Powell three times0

John Humphrey0

Pre-Premier days.
Derek Hales. Brought so much excitement.
Clive Mendonca. He made me believe we were serious about promotion.
Everyone else Lenny Lawrence and Alan Curbishley signed. Proper Charlton players every one of them.3 -
And Gary Nelson1

Nicky Bailey was the man for us but shame those memories are tarnished with the Swindon playoff and subsequent Millwall move0
