As I said on the other thread atleast with Garner and Holden you could see what they were trying to do. Appleton is clueless and I honestly don’t think he knows wtf he is doing. When he came in the team went on a run of decent results on autopilot while he settled in. Now settled in and influencing performances it’s just aimless boring shite5

Brownie called it about defending and what Curbs would've done. Apples has had long enough, the players are not scared of the manager, it's obvious we have no desire and we deserve better.

Apples is probably just waiting for the expected payoff. Easy money really1
-
Appleton is clueless. Going nowhere with him in charge.1
-
He can go as far as I’m concerned. Clueless, one dimensional, poor coach, poor manager,1
-
Was that his last game do we think ?0
-
Done absolute nothing at any of his previous clubs, get rid, we've had enough, 1 win against an 8th or is 9th tier club shows the level we are, get rid for f**k sake!!!1

Apples out. We are nowhere near a promotion team but he should be beating the likes of Orient and Gillingham. He will never connect with fans to galvanise us. God forbid he has any input into the window.10

Scoring hasn't been a problem... Now it is a problem.
Goals are drying up and so the draws and losses are massing up.2 - Sponsored links:

I have blamed it on the players in other matches and I stand by that criticism even if it was slightly over the top in an emotional way but be bold, make the change, don't let this guy spend the January budget.
We have the best striker in the division and he wastes him, you could see we had it tactically wrong today within 20 minutes and he did not change it quick enough.

Does not like to bring on subs because it would look like he got it wrong at the start. Just move the players around to their wrong position0
-
They’ll cling on to him for as long as possible to avoid admitting it was a mistake to hire him but he won’t be here at the start of next season. Just get it over with now and sack him12
-
A jobbing manager that thought he was better than us and using us as a stepping stone. No one in my circle thought he was a good choice. Even worse than that bald fella we got from Swindon whose name escapes me.

I think he lost the dressing room by the look of the some of the body language , he was bought in by Scott being touted as player who can coach and improve the young players and yet all he seems to do is balmae the young players and say we need buy experienced players who don’t need as much coaching3
-
I have been saying we can't keep sacking managers but that was a come sack me game. I get if he fails he has to answer for it but what about Scott?2

When he keeps coming out saying our squad is shit and he can't change it, I doubt it does wonders for morale.
Personally would get rid now, it's not like we'd be missing much and it'll inevitably happen before season ends and who knows maybe we can get lucky with the next appointment. We need something as we're utterly rudderless top to bottom1 -
Two managers appointed by this crowd and don't tell me they had no say in Holden being appointed. Doing well so far for new management, might even get us promoted from League 2 in the future 😠2

Is it like, I dunno, Methven in charge, or Paul Elliot?
Who the bejaysus knows anyway?

I can see absolutely no logic in playing inexperienced youngster Kanu (a centre forward) wide right, when you have another inexperienced youngster Tyrece Campbell who's natural position is wide right.
Campbell has regressed terribly in recent weeks, his confidence appears to have been shattered, and that isn't surprising given the way Appleton has messed him around.
In fact all the promising youngsters now appear to be going backwards. Campbell, Assimway, Anderson, even Leaburn before his injury.10 -
He's a manager who's got the good fortune to have the top scorer in the league but can't get us anywhere near the play off places. Jog on Appleton.3

The thing is we appointed Jackson because he was cheaper than Adkins, Holden cos he was cheaper than Jackson and Appleton because he was cheaper than Holden.Who the fudge will be cheaper than Appleton, the feller from Cray Valley Paper Mills?
On reflection, at least that feller played two up top and his team looked dangerous…1 -
Appleton still has credit with me. Squad is struggling with injuries and is full of kids on the bench. Blame us 100% on the Recruitment team than management for me. However, I don’t understand why L Watson can’t get a start in midfield

When Oxford get a last minute winner and Charlie is jumping up and down in delight ....
in a sick sort of way, for some Charlton fan frothing I wouldn't mind that0
