Conceding this many late goals is unequivocally unacceptable.

    Jellyfish Athletic strike again.

    It is what it is.

Number one required quality in the transfer window: leadership.

No reaction from Tuesday despite Apples saying we’d see a reaction and better energy levels. May wasn’t having a great game but he’s not a winger. I know Tedic scored but why not stick May through the middle too and try to win the game.

It wouldn't matter what manager you put in, nobody would convince Blackett Taylor to mark from that free kick, he stands and looks, he doesn't think its his responsibility.
  • Only two players in our available squad, apart from May and CBT, have scored more than twice in the League and 12 (37.50%) of the 32 goals we've conceded have come in the final 15 minutes. Until we find goals from other areas and learn to apply ourselves in the closing stages of a game, nothing really is going to change is it?

Rubbish. There is no urgency in this team and hasn’t been for months. The manager absolutely drives that through bloody fear. It’s all too lad back and beige. Just like the manager

Useless fuckers, the lot of them. I said during the match thread that the misses by CBT and Kanu would cost us and so it came to pass. That match was there for the taking just like all those other matches where we conceded in injury time or late on. Appleton Out, all of them out. I fucking hate football. Good night
  • Reaction? I’ve seen more positive reactions from my IBS to the stress these fuckers induce on me.

    They've got absolutely no arsehole.

No physicality, no fitness, no style of play, no desire, no clue.

    Embarrassing.

Lack of everything! Appleton’s new manager bounce stopped 4 weeks ago - performances and results not only disappointing but worrying as this was one of our easier months on paper and the gap to the bottom getting smaller than that to the top.

    The season has gone…

  • And again...

  • Thought we get beat. Worst away record in the division. Cant be starting both Kanu/Anderson in the league, especially on the road. Keeping a clean sheets looks impossible and goals have dried up with May.

Only followed on sky sports as this season has been over for weeks now.

Appleton is under pressure as can’t keep conceding late goals. Just bored of it tbh.

Reading curbs book again at the moment. He signed players that are hungry and angry, his words. Why don’t we see this in our players?
  • Weak players mentally and physically.

Irrational playing May out wide- even Curbs bemused by this.

L Watson not getting a look in.

Manager unable to drill players to not concede late goals and just standing hands in pockets on the sideline.

Need a strong squad to battle out results and not melt like a bunch of schoolboys at the first sign of pressure and a manager to instil a bit of grit into them like Bowyer did.

No divine right to be promoted but Charlton should at least be competing at this level and we don't currently have the players or manager to do that which is not good enough.

Heard we won't be spending this window (hopefully that's wrong) so expecting the usual sticking plaster window but needs to be wholesale changes between now and end of July for us to get out of this quagmire otherwise we'll be playing in front of 7k as more fans bail after years of this turgid and impotent attempts at putting a team together to compete in the 3rd division.

Appleton has to go, but Scott has a lot to answer for. Talks a good game for sure but the proof is in the pudding and most of his appointments are complete dog shit. Sunday league mistakes you just know we're going to concede towards the end.
100% on Scott. Every signing except May are bang average at best. Should be out the door ASAP.

Can we not just appoint them please 🙏

As sure as night follows day you knew we would let a late goal in

    No. It isn't happening.
