Might explain why Peterborough aren't in a rush to accept low bids for Clarke-Harris.
The Peterborough owner has said a few times he expects JCH to go early in the window. Take it with a pinch of salt but they won't want to leave it too late and risk it stalling like in the summer.0 -
With JCH could we not just agree a deal to sign him in the summer since he's got less than 6months left? We clearly aren't going up this season3

I think that link stinks of agent talk/ the club giving Cawley something to post as we trust him and it may take the heat off them.
Sort of like how I am interested in Dua Lipa but she has the pick of most blokes in the world & I'm just a tubby lad from London0 -

But I think that is old news.
As I mentioned there is going to be a lot of transactions this month, in and out of the club. I honestly think these owners want to a big go at, I get to fans are once bitten twice as shy, and want instant success, but personally I feel we need to give them a bit of time, they haven’t done anything alarmingly wrong at the moment. They have a strategy and a plan, and it is certainly bette than the last few owners that’s for sure!As I go back, there is a base on here would only be happy if it was Varney that took over!It is a big month for Scott, if no improvement then we deserve to go after him, but at the moment the jury is out for me!
Even if we were in the relegation zone right now I could see you trying to spin it as the ownership just wanting to downplay their wealth to lower asking fees. Spin merchant.8 -

There’s a difference between a slow CB like Pearce who was part of a promotion team but didn’t have enough to remain a Championship player and someone like Gary Doherty who by the time he played for us was too slow for L1.
Both had won L1 promotions before playing for us, comes down to our recruitment team being confident Gillesphey’s legs haven’t gone and aren’t going any time soon. Believe he’s played LB and left side of a back three which is a good sign, a CB with no pace at all would usually struggle in those positions.0 -

Slow, injury prone and cheap.

Now it's all Holden's fault. Just tired of the lines clearly from the ownership peddled with zero critical thought.12 -

The GFP recruitment formula in a nutshell. He’s played 27 plus games in every season since 2015.
He will cost a transfer fee. And not many players tend to really go for transfer fees at this level.
And I don’t know if he is slow or not. But at least on FM database he is quicker than Jones who I wouldnt say is slow.9 -
Peterbro won’t sell Clarke -Harris to us until after we played them couple of weeks time , between now and then there hoping that Huddersfield or Stoke or another league one side will start an auction may for him and pay more money …

It’s all gone a bit quiet on Gillesphey, I hope that happens as he ticks all boxes of what we need at the moment2

Not a player but a member of our coaching who left us a couple of years ago, Danny Murphy has just left his position at Newcastle0
