Nervous ahead of this one. Good start to the season, but tonight will be the first time the team will come under a bit of expectation. Orient will be pumped up, with us having a good start and them a disappointing result on Saturday, this will be a big game for them, particularly as it will be their biggest crowd this season.

How do you see it going ? Would you make any changes or is it a case of if it isn't broke, don't fix it ?

Worried about this one. No rational reasoning.....

    Don't think we'll loose. 1-1.

Orient will be up for it; looking at make amends for Saturday's home defeat. And yet, you should never underestimate the momentum and confidence borne out of a 100% start to the (league) season.

    Orient 0-2 Charlton
  • Away win...

I presume everyone who played on Saturday is fit, if so an unchanged team.
  • Would you make any changes or is it a case of if it isn't broke, don't fix it ?

    .......

Well that and a lack of depth in the squad forces Parky to pick the same team. Realistically who is there on the bench or in the squad that you would bring in? Maybe Basey for Youga, other than that...

No reason to change the team, not as if we have better players on the bench anyway.
  • 1-1

no change to team if all fit, would go for 2-1 charlton or maybe even a draw 1-1

unchanged team and I now fully expect us to win this comfortably after being nervous before the Hartlepool game.

Think Shelvey will be very much talked about post this one.

Local-ish game for him, is obviously going to have a lot of friends and family there, i can see him having an absolute blinder, or having a stinker from trying too hard.

Have a feeling he will score tonight though.

Yup, Shelvey 1st goal 3-0 win!! We're gonna show the rest of the league we mean business tonight!

29 minutes left and I'm in the pub!
  • 7.45 we will be singing 'We've got more fans than you'

9.30 they will be singing 'We've got more goals than you'

Sorry but Charlton are always a let down when the fans are up for it and I dont see tonight being any different.

Would be happy with a point tonight, would set us up nicely for Walsall Saturday and will keep the momentum and confidence going, of course, a win would be even better.

    Score draw
  • Very tough local derby tonight. Could go either way, but as I'm a pessimist I think the O's will nick it 2-1.

Although we don't have the right to win any football game I think with the current XI then we should be looking, and even maybe expecting, 3 points in every game we play. Maybe that is a tad arrogant but I stand by it.

    Charlton win 2-0.

I think away win. Leyton Orient have been weakened by the loss of Adam Boyd, and he hardly troubled us last week. We will struggle against some teams but I can't see it being Orient.

Gutted I can't get to this one, all set to buy my tickets last week but then commitments got in the way.

I've gone for a Charlton win. This could really set the ball rolling if we get a win. I expect the same team and formation to start barring any injuries. I think it will be close but if they played like they did in the last game and keep hold of the ball and pass it then hopefully 3 points. Saying that I don't think a point out of the game would be a bad result.

I think we'll win 4-0 and have a man sent off late on leading to choruses of 'we've only got 10 men'. This will happen, FACT! Goals from Bailey, Sam, Racon and Burton.

Fully expect us to lose as we normally do when the fans turn out in force for a change, it is the Charlton way.

I got a feeling 2-1, Scott McGleish will score theirs. Burton and Shelvey for us

Agreed. It's happened all too often before.

Love to be proved wrong though!
