January 24 Transfer Window - Daily Progress [Final]

Blackett-Taylor seems to be ‘out the building’ now bar all but the very tip of a shoelace. Photos emerged last night of him in a Derby shirt, though nothing has been announced. 

Other rumours still seem firmly weighted on the arrival side, with attacker Aaron Collins the last name to start getting prominence. JCH likelihood seems to have cooled significantly, and Port Vale’s Ikpeazu was one that was expected to happen yesterday but for whatever reason didn’t. 

Been a quieter few days on the transfer front as new manager speculation has dominated the backdrop. An injured Watford right back Jeremy Ngakia and Aaron Collins at Bristol Rovers are the two names that have been floated (to play, not manage).

Elsewhere, professional loanee Jonathan Leko switched to Burton, Wimbledon’s striker we had previously been linked with Al Hamadi signed for Ipswich and Reading lost their highly rated youngster Nathan Abbey to Olympiakos.

So we enter the last day of the window in the unusual position of not too many rumours flying around. Whether that’s because all of our business is already done remains a possibility, but I certainly expect some ins and outs to emerge today. 

Fraser finally completing a loan up north equals the score between the Ins and Outs. The biggest question of all is will Dobson still be a Charlton player by the end of the day? 

The Premier League really hasn’t kicked into action this window and I think the likelihood of a damp squib is more on the cards than last minute craziness, but we shall see. Sky will have their poor sods shivering in the dark outside closed up training grounds tonight none the less!
