Thinking about that game , was that the first time Curbs got real criticism from the crowd

    Even then it was a better performance than when they beat us in the cup at Selhurst about 1988

    Yes, that was an awful game played in a near empty ground on a cold, wet January saturday: what the Cup is all about! Mark Stuart early on I think, then a David Kelly equaliser for them. Can't remember the winner at all!Just a miserable drive home. It was '86/87 so the Full Members Cup almost made up for it and the Play-Offs certainly did.

    I remember that Walsall game. Went with my grandad. After Stuart scored (I think it was about seven or eight minutes in) he said to me "this could be a right pasting". I didn't speak to him for about a month i was that pissed off

    Craig Shakespeare scored the winner. Quiet poetic really. Bloody cold it was too.

    for some reason the coach from Dartford got us there at 1.30 - bloody freezing day as well.
