Dickson to Gills

We at kentsportsnews.com keep hearing that Dicko is off to the Gills and now that Gray has gone to Barnsley, Kandol will be coming in and Dicko will be off.

What does everyone else think?

Is it likely to happen?

    it's been going on for ages, don't think anyone would be particularly bothered if he went, he doesn't seem to be a part of Parky's plans anyway.
    with Gray gone now, i'm sure we'd have at least 1 new signing before letting him go though

    as long as we get a better replacement. And bear in mind he WILL score against us. I hate selling players to other teams in the same division. we will regret it.

    I wouldn't rule it totally out.

    Think we are going to see a fair bit of movement in the next week.

    Wouldn't miss him at all.

    Don't rate him and he hasn't looked interested in the couple of pre-season friendlies I saw him in.

    Clearly not in Parky's plans. If him & Gray going see Barnard & Kandol come in, that'll do for me.

    Basically he has a registered to us, but its a short term contract which either party can walk away fromat anytime

    not fussed think he would do alright, but doesnt look like is part of parky's plan. hopefully sign someone like jackson from gills but cant see that happenning thats why put like

    Could be holding on to Small for now in case Bailey goes!!!

    Chris D has had his chance and not really done it so I think he will be on his way unless Izale goes first.

    Funny thing today I was standing outside the west stand and Dickson walked past me I said to him "Hello Chris good luck mate...even if you do go Gillingham good luck" after I said it I did picture a Dickson hatrick against us.....doh! I should have just kicked him in the knee instead!

    I still think dickson will score more goals than the rest of our forwards - he is powerful and loves running at defenders, which is something they don't like. He also gives us sometyhing different upfront to the usual back to go merchants we already have.

    I'd like to see someone come in who is tall - Burton lacks height, while he runs a lot and is ok when the ball's on the deck he isn't going to win many headers and I don't think that Jackson and Barnard are that tall either.

    Yeah I don't think they are, hopefully if we get them it will encourage us to play it on the deck a bit!

    I don`t think he has the first touch or nous to play the way Parky wants Charlton to play. Agree he might get goals in Div 1 which is his level I think.

    I appreciate the run of play right now and that Parky has got his side gelling well enough for a perfect start but the amount of talent that continues to go wasted in the roster does not reflect well on management. PP should legitimately fear what happens if Dickson is able to demonstrate that he is a competent League 1 striker somewhere else and we have no depth behind Burton.
